About Our Business
My daughter Robyn and I started this business about 7 years ago when I
had a plus size women's clothing boutique. Because we had such large
sizes, it was natural that some of our clientele would be Crossdressers. I
got to know many of them as they shopped and tried dresses on. I would
help them find the right size and style for their body. I would even help
them choose outfits for an important trip or function.
One day one of the dressers asked if I did make overs as well. I didn't but
said I would look into what was needed for that. We got everything we
needed and I set aside a special night just for the "Girls". It was
Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 7pm. They liked that they didn't have
to worry about being seen by other women. Some were shy.
I also had a tailor there to help them with clothing they needed to have
altered. It was becoming very clear to me that these "Girls" didn't have
many choices when it came to buying clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories
and getting beautiful or even a place to wear them if they could manage
to buy them. When I later closed my store I moved the makeover section
to my home and we continued on there. Well, families grow and people
move and so here we are in southern New Hampshire. We still have a
room in my house and we have some great ideas on how to grow with you.
